MOY were asked by our approved partner contractor R.L.Lovatt to specify a fit for purpose waterproofing solution for the refurbishment of the balcony at a Golf Club in Manchester. MOY specified to overlay the existing Asphalt waterproofing layer with our Enkopur waterproofing system, a single-component, cold liquid-applied polyurethane based roof waterproofing membrane with a polyester fleece reinforcement which has been tested and certified by the British Board of Agrément to have a life expectancy of at least 25 years.
As this roof is an accessible balcony MOY also specified our single-component Enketop balcony and terrace coating to protect the Enkopur waterproofing system beneath and provide a long lasting, optically attractive finish which is UV-resistant, chemically resistant and easy to clean. This robust specification gave the client peace of mind as a MOY single point, workmanship and materials guarantee of up to 20 years was provided. Products: Enkopur and Enkotop
